Kontroll (Hungarian) - Filmed completely in the Hungarian subway system. Awesome story and AMAZING soundtrack. I LOVE THIS MOVIE.

Old Boy (South Korea) - DO NOT get the 2013 American remake. Get the 2003 original. You might have to watch the ending a few times. It's quite deep. This is a close second to Kontroll.

Everything is Illuminated (US) - Heartbreaking and hilarious. No subtitles!

Legend of 1900 (US) - nice story and that scene of him playing the piano is one of my favorites.

Ferpect Crime (Spain) - Those Spaniards are hilarious.

Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (UK) - Do yourself a favor and turn on the subtitles, The accents are so thick you can cut them with a chainsaw. The ending had me screaming at the screen.

Secuestro Express (Venezuela)
- This movie has so many unexpected twists.

10 Cloverfield Lane (US) - John Goodman steals the show here. And the ending is quite a twist! (Thanks Debra)

Yes! Goodman shines in that one. I think it does qualify as horror and you are right, that ending is awesome. I’m adding it to the list!

I saw parts of a made for TV movie last night on SCI- FI called
    THE CROOKED MAN.
    It look pretty good although
the Crooked Man looked a little like Freddy Krueger
The movie starts with pre-teen girls playing a urban legend summoning game.

What made this creepy in a good way is that you seldom children in perrel.

Sherry, clowns literally scare the devil smooth out of me!! I watched the first ‘IT’ and ever since then I’ve been afraid of them. I can’t imagine watching the new version. I love watching horror movies but if it’s got a clown in it, it gets turned off!! Crazy, I know, but they do scare me. They are right up there with Snakes!!
